Designed in partnership with the Wisconsin School of Business Center for Professional & Executive Development, the WHA Health Care Leadership Academy will help professionals make more meaningful contributions to patient care, cost management, and effective service delivery.
MADISON, Wis. (October 18, 2021) – The Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) has created a new partnership with the Wisconsin School of Business Center for Professional & Executive Development to offer the WHA Health Care Leadership Academy.
The health care sector has been operating through constant change for decades while navigating rapidly advancing technologies, evolving standards of care, changing patient and population demographics, cost pressures, evolving fee and reimbursement models, and complexities in the legal and regulatory environment.
With the recent pandemic and significant future change on the horizon, this transformation and disruption creates a need to build resilient and capable health care leaders with the skills to successfully navigate the complexities and opportunities of the future of health care.
Through an immersive, five-month program designed with in-person and online learning components, participants will gain an understanding of the business side of health care to meet the rapidly changing demands of the health care industry.
“The Wisconsin Hospital Association has always been focused on current and future workforce needs of Wisconsin hospitals. The WHA Health Care Leadership Academy is an innovative and forward-thinking executive-level educational program that will provide hospitals with resources they will need to continue to fulfill the health care needs of the communities they serve.”
WHA Vice President of Education and Marketing Leigh Ann Larson
